The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has established an award program to be administered by the Entrepreneurship Centers located throughout Illinois. The purpose of this award program is to assist individual entrepreneurs or small businesses with obtaining professional services for comprehensive business planning assistance, the elevation of a proposed start-up or expansion, or other accelerated support purposes.  Each EC's local Managing Board will be responsible for determining the unique professional service needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses in a particular region.  However, award funding must be targeted to successful achievement of a significant business milestone for client firms.

To be eligible and acquire this funding, a company must…

• Have less than $10 million in annual revenues.
• Have a significant business milestone that they wish to pursue.
• Determine that our solutions will assist in their achievement of the milestone.
• Complete the application and due diligence process
• Have their application approved by the grant committee
